We sell an adapter, not your data. Here's the little we collect, why, and how to make us delete it.
What we collect
If you buy: your name, email, shipping address, and order details – handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
If you join the waitlist: your email address, handled by Kit (ConvertKit), our email service. You confirm by email (double opt-in) and every message has an unsubscribe link.
If you visit: your theme and motion preferences are saved in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device.
What we use it for
Fulfilling orders, handling returns and support, and – if you opted in – emailing you about the solar panel and other Volt Lab products. That's the whole list.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your personal information. No ad trackers, no data brokers, no "trusted partners."
Who touches your data
Only the services that make the store work: Stripe (payments), Kit (email), our shipping carrier (delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting, standard server logs). Each has its own privacy policy.
Your rights (California and everywhere else)
Volt Lab is a California business. Under the CCPA you can ask us what we have about you, ask us to delete it, and opt out of sale – easy, since we don't sell it. We extend the same rights to everyone: email support@voltlabusa.com and we'll handle it within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Retention & security
Order records are kept as long as tax law requires; waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete. Data lives with the providers above, encrypted in transit.
Kids
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. No silent edits.
